A1, A2, EM1, EM2 use cases

Hi all, I need help understanding what are use cases for A1, A2, EM1, EM2 sku-s.

In power bi documentation I read out that these sku-s does not run on dedicated capacity and also in documentation step by step tutorials for both embeding for your organization and for your customers there is a step where workspaces where report reside are assigned to dedicated capacity, so I am not sure why these sku-s even exist if they can not be used for embeding?

Hi  @NenadV ,

if you just need to embed PBI Reports in your own application, the A SKU is enoughBut embeddedyou also would need to assign the app workspace to the dedicated capacity using your "A" SKUE SKU is suitable for power Bi premium.

There are different types of SKU

In terms of scale:

EM SKU is suitable for organization embedding

A SKU is suitable for personal developers or third-party developers' web pages. It embeds reports and dashboards into web pages for others to see

In terms of fees:

EM SKU needs to be committed annually and charged monthly

A SKU subscribes to the azure portal without commitment and charges by hour
