HI Team,

I am facing with 403 forbidden with no error message in powerBI REST API. Below steps have been done.

     1. APP Registered.

     2. Heighlighted scopes were available. Dataset.Read.All, Report.Read.All, Workspace.Read.All.

     3. Admin consent provided.
     4. Access token not expired and have the above mentioned scopes.
     5. In powerBI tenant settings Service principlas can use Fabric API Enabled to The entire organisation.
    6. User had Admin access to the workspace and data source.

Hi, @AsifLumel

Check for any API limits or quotas that may have been exceeded. This can sometimes lead to a 403 error. Double-check the authorization headers in your API requests to make sure there are no typos or formatting issues. You can check the following link:

Also you need to check your ability to manage permissions for individual datasets.

Hi @AsifLumel

Not sure this will make a difference, but in Power BI Admin portal, there is this option. You will need to add security groups or activate for whole company

HI @Joe_Barry

Thank you for your response. Currently, the "Service Principals Can Use Fabric API" setting is enabled in the Power BI admin portal for the entire organization. However, we are still encountering the error.
