Unable to share report with external users

I have a report that queries a tabular model, I can generate the public link normally.

but when I share the report with an external user, for example, from GMAIL, the report does not open

I have already given permission to the GMAIL user in Gateway and Workspaces, but it did not solve the problem.

Could someone help me?

Tks.

Hello,@collinq ,thanks for your concern about this issue.

Your answer is excellent!
And I would like to share some additional solutions below.
Hi,@Keny .I am glad to help you.
Here is my test for your question:
In Azure portal :

vjtianmsft_0-1722843794342.pngInvite external users to the organization

vjtianmsft_1-1722843825085.png

vjtianmsft_3-1722843874280.png
It is worth noting that if the problem is with sharing reports (inviting external users), then the user will not have access to the report.

vjtianmsft_4-1722843905213.png

External users will be shown this page, which means that they do not have access to the report and need to apply for permissions. At this point, you need to follow your previous actions to give external users access to a separate report, or directly give the user workspace permissions (to the administrative role in the workspace).

However, based on your screenshot, I think it is more likely that there is an issue with the gateway.
You can first check if the same problem occurs when the report is accessed by users from within the organization, if the problem does not only occur when the report is accessed by invited users from outside the organization, then there should be a change in the structure of the data source or the data that caused the error, or there is a problem with the gateway connection.
Please check whether your data source data has changed, and check whether the gateway is online and whether the gateway connection is normal.
If you think the problem may be caused by the inviting user, you can try to give the user access to other reports that are normally refreshed to see if the problem is only for report Test_0208. If the problem occurs with other reports, please re-invite the external user and give the external user the correct permissions for the workspace management role, not just for a particular report.

You can check for problems by exporting the gateway logs through the gateway application

Could you provide more screenshots that don't contain sensitive data, which could help to help you identify the problem

I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.

HI @Keny ,

In your example screenshot it does not appear that the site you are sharing is a Premium Workspace.  Since it is not a Premium site, the user that you are sharing with has to have a PRO license.
