Will Web.Contents() POST ever work with an API Key?

I was wondering if there would be any enhancements to Web.Contents() which would allow us to make an HTTP POST using the API-Key method of authentication and with a Content body? It seems strange that in 2023 we aren;t able to make REST API calls from within PowerQuery-M along with Authentication.

We are no doing it anonymously, but we then have to hardcode the API Key in the PowerQuery code which is kind of not good practice.

Are there any other alternatives like using secrets or dynamically pulling in keys from a KeyVault after the report is published to the PowerBi Service?
