One of my columns has a description of 5/32" x 7/8' to start, but after going through a Merge Column/Split Column by Delimiter Power BI changes the result to 5/32 x 7/8'. Why did it remove the quotation mark? This will throw off any future references.
Solved! Go to Solution.
When splitting columns through UI, in advanced option try selecting 'None' for Quote Character
You will also see it says 'QuoteStyle.None, false' in the M code.
