Hello folks,
I need your help to solve a connection issue with SNow: I need to create an URL that filters tickets according to a list I have in another table but I'm struggling to pass the list of values....
Here's my script:
let
Tickets = Table.SelectColumns(Details, "Ticket_no"),
#"Filtered Ticket Rows" = Table.SelectRows(#"Tickets", each ([Ticket_no] <> null)),
#"Filtered Ticket Rows1" = Table.SelectRows(#"Filtered Ticket Rows", each Text.StartsWith([Ticket_no], "RITM")),
#"Split Column by Delimiter" = Table.ExpandListColumn(Table.TransformColumns(#"Filtered Ticket Rows1", {{"Ticket_no", Splitter.SplitTextByDelimiter(",", QuoteStyle.Csv), let itemType = (type nullable text) meta [Serialized.Text = true] in type {itemType}}}), "Ticket_no"),
#"Split Column by Delimiter1" = Table.ExpandListColumn(Table.TransformColumns(#"Split Column by Delimiter", {{"Ticket_no", Splitter.SplitTextByDelimiter("-", QuoteStyle.Csv), let itemType = (type nullable text) meta [Serialized.Text = true] in type {itemType}}}), "Ticket_no"),
#"TicketList" = Text.Combine(Table.ToList(#"Split Column by Delimiter1"), ","),
Source =Json.Document(Web.Contents("https://datasource/servicenow/api/now/table/sc_req_item&sysparm_limit=100&sysparm_display_value=true...", #"TicketList"
))
Hi, @bmenicucci ;
1.Open Power BI Desktop and click Get Data -> ODBC.
2.Select the DSN in the menu. If you know the SQL query you want to use to import, expand the Advanced Options node and enter the query in the SQL Statement box.
3.Select tables in the Navigator dialog.The available tables. (Salesforce is shown.)
4.Click Edit to edit the query. The table you imported is displayed in the Query Editor. In the Query Editor, you can enrich your local copy of ServiceNow data with other data sources, pivot ServiceNow columns, and more. Power BI detects each column's data type from the ServiceNow metadata retrieved by the driver.
