Using Oracle LONG datatype

We have a system that has an Oracle database that still uses LONG datatypes, has anyone been able to get Power Bi to read these columns.  They come into power query ok but dont show any data and default to text type. We cant change the column in the database or add any other columns to do a conversion on the oracle side.

no, we only have select/read access to the oracle database
