Unable to Connect

Hi there,

I want to try Power BI Desktop with an On premise Microsoft SQL server

I first got a pipes issue, but then I used the configuration manager to enable pipes and now I get a mysterious

which really doesn't say anything!

I've tried setting the "Select which level to apply these settings to:"

to server level as well as database level, I get the same error
