Hello Experts,
I'm trying to replace values - to blank or null in a columns using:
= Table.ReplaceValue(#"Renamed ColumnsY",Number.FromText("-"), null,Replacer.ReplaceValue,{"ColumnX"})
However I get the following error:
DataFormat.Error: We couldn't convert to Number.
Details:
-
Is there an easy wayt to overcome this?
Thanks in advance!
Solved! Go to Solution.
Don't use Number.FromText("-"). Since you are trying to replace "-" with null, hence Number.FromText is not needed. This will give error as "-" can't be identified as number.
Use below
= Table.ReplaceValue(#"Renamed ColumnsY","-",null,Replacer.ReplaceValue,{"ColumnX"})
Yes, and then I could use Replace Errors instead. Thanks!
