Split columns without breaking query folding

Hello,

I would like to split text column (textColumn below) by delimiter (" ") without breaking query folding, is it possible?

The table has data like this:

textColumn	Split#1	Split#2
ABC DEF	ABC	DEF
A.111 GHI	A.111	GHI
A.123 FFF	A.123	FFF
A.22 EEE	A.22	EEE

Hi @CatoD ,

Query folding is the ability to convert M-code into native queries and process the data with the help of the data source, thus improving performance. Let's assume that the data source is some relational database, and combining the file content and SQL split statements, my answer is that the split columns cannot trigger query folding.
