When I sort within Power Query, then select a row in the grid, the data in that row does not match the preview at the bottom of the screen - IF i have selected the applied step or a subsequent step where the sort took place. If I select an applied step prior to the sort, then select a row in the grid, the preview is correct. Can anyone explain why this happens?
Buffer the table or list (whatever your are sorting) before sorting and then this problem would not arise.
