Hello,
I would like to ask a question to a SharePoint expert. Today, I have a need to display the latest login dates of users on a SharePoint site in a Power BI report. While exploring SharePoint lists, I have noticed the existence of certain hidden lists that may contain, for example, user information. However, I have not yet been able to find the last usage date. Do you have a solution at least to verify if an invited user has already visited a SharePoint site or just a page?
Thank you.
Thank you @v-yanjiang-msft but it would take a solution to retrieve this data via a power query request since I need to carry out a very specific report is automated
Hi @Anonymous ,
SharePoint maintains an audit log that can be used to track user activity. You can use this log to determine when a user last accessed a SharePoint site or page. Here's how you can access the audit log:
1. Go to the SharePoint site where you want to track user activity.
2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select "Site Settings".
3. Under "Site Collection Administration", click on "Audit log reports".
4. Select the report that you want to generate. For example, you can select "Content Viewing" to track when users view content on the site.
5. Set the date range for the report and click "OK" to generate the report.
Once you have the report, you can export it to Excel and use Power BI to create a report that displays the latest login dates of users.
