Able to connect to Cherwell REST API via power query using Bearer Token with Anonymous Auth Selected showing json data OK. When selecting close and apply failing to authenticate.
NB: Tested with both Get Data Invoke added and removed.
The data you're seeing might be old and the token might have expired - did you press the Refresh Preview button?
BTW: It would be nice to be able to put the Authorization token in the Credentials instead of hardcoding it in the query, right? 😀
Thanks ams1, tis a very wierd one. Running the same query for several other tables has the same behaviour in that the data displaying in the power query editor then auth error on both Refresh Preview along with Close & Apply. So true regarding the credentials! 😛
Well, regarding using the Credentials manager for header Authorization there might be a quick-and-dirty-ish way, stay tooned. 😉
Sounds intriguing, thanks ams1!
