@vanessafvg,
This is a know issue which has been reported internally: CRI 93388496. This issue will be fixed in February 2019 Power BI Desktop release.
Currently, you can put all these files in local folder and then connect to the Folder in Power BI Desktop to work around this issue.

Lydia
@Anonymous hi where can i get more information about this issue, so are you saying i cannot pull any data from the data lake at all?

@vanessafvg,
The issue is reported internally and only engineers are able to track the issue and get all the information. Currently, it is not possible to combine files after connecting to Azure data lake.
As a work around, you can combine the files into a single file, then upload it to Azure data lake and connect to the file in Power BI Desktop.

Lydia
@Anonymous what if i only want to connect to one file in azure data lake, i can't see how to it from this screen? Just to test functionality? i can't figure out how to pull the data from azure

@vanessafvg,
Do you mean that you are not able to expand single file in Power BI Desktop after connecting to Azure data lake?

Lydia
