Hello,
I'm beginner with Power BI. I have loaded some tables from a MySQL database.
In Power BI desktop (Model or Data views), I can see the different columns/attributes that I expect to see.
When I open Power Query ("Transform Data" from Power BI desktop), I don't see all the columns. I can't find/display them. They are also not visible via the "Reach Column" feature.
Could you please help me?
Sorry if the answer is obvious!
Thanks in advance
Davou

Hello, the same thing is happening to me, I wanted to ask if you managed to correct the problem.
Hi @davou,
The columns that you create in DAX, that is the Data tab in Power BI Desktop, won't be visible in Power Query. It is possible to all columns from Power Query in DAX but not the other way around.
Mark this post as a solution if that works for you!

thank you @Shaurya for your answer,
My problem is directly after the loading of the tables (MySQL views) in PowerBI. Not all the columns of these views are visible in PowerQuery. I haven't started creating columns in DAX.
Thank you again.
That's weird...can you please share some screenshots to elaborate what you are descibing?
Hi @davou
Are these columns existing in the data source? If these columns are calculated columns created with DAX, they are in the data model layer. They cannot be seen when you open Power Query Editor as Power Query Editor is used to load and transform data. This happens earlier than data modeling.
In addition, what is the "Reach Column" feature? I'm not impressed with this feature. Where did you see it?
