Power Query - non stop connecting and loading

Can i know if anyone experiene this? When you click on load and transform, the excel just connecting forever and never load?

Hi,

I am connecting to an external excel workbook.

On second event,

I already complete transform data then it shows nicely the view i need - saved it as A.xlsx in folder AA. I pull a new file B.xlsx into the same folder AA and refresh the A.xlsx but the table did not capture the new file B.xlsx information in it. Wondering why is it?

Sorry for the late reply. Did you succeed to resolve the first problem?

For the second question, I guess what you want is to get data from multiple files in a folder, so you can go to Get Data > From File > From Folder. After getting all files listed in a table, you need to combine them into a single query. Power Query can do this for you automatically, please refer to

Are you connecting to an external Excel workbook or connecting to the current workbook? Would this happen if you connect to a Text or CSV file?
