Power Bi

I am inquiring about the appropriate software tools to allow me to pull data from sql server or excel (no 365), and display in report for like Power Bi; however I want the end-user to be able to modify the report for update back to sql server database or excel worksheet.  This is secure data, but we do not currently have office 365.  What product do we need in or to display to the end-user on desktop or mobile device a  report from our sql serverdatabase and allow the end user to modify some of the columns from the report.  The report will then need to save back to the db or excel worksheet and printable.
