Power Bi Power Query - Combine Files Issues

Hi,

I am trying to get two .xlsm sharepoint files to combine via Power Query. (i.e. Get data > Sharepoint File > Filter by intended folder path using "ends with" text filter). I get up to the point where i can combine my files. When i click combine the screen is loading a table name in the Parameter section that simply does not exist in the excel files. (e.g. the excel table name is "TestingStatus" and the PowerQuery > Combine Files Option is pulling "TestingStatus1"). Up to this point these files were pulling the actual table name "TestingStatus," however in the course of an hour now each file is pulling "TestingStatus1" (which again does not exist in the files). Does anyone know what has gone wrong? I've been closing in and out of power query all day so i figured it could be a cache issue. I cleared my desktop cache but still am unsure why this is happening. Anyone have ideas?

Hi @loves2swim

Does the non-exist table appear on this screen?

I did a test with SharePoint folder connector and .xlsm files, but everything goes well without this issue.

Anyway, if the table can be selected to perform a combine, you can try combining files first. Then go to "Transform Sample File" query, go to "Navigation" step, then modify the code to pick another table by name.

In addition, which version of Power BI Desktop are you using? Have you updated it to the latest version?

Best Regards,
Jing

Also ^ I just tried the same type of formula with a different sharepoint site and different .xlsm files and am incurring the same issue.
