Power BI - Dataflows - Common Data Model

Hi,

I have a requirement to create a common data Model (CDM) as the source data is coming from different versions of Dynamic AX. Microsoft suggests to use Power BI dataflows to create the CDM.But CDM is evolving, will it be a right apporach to use Power BI datflows to extract data from different source sytem? Or should I use Azure Data Factory (ADF)?

What's the road map for Power BI dataflows with respect to Common Data Model(CDM)? Appreciate your inputs please, for making a decision on Power BI dataflows VS ADF.
