Hello!
I'm a new at the forum and a little bit at Power BI. I started last year but never signed in until now that I found a problem that I cannot find any solution on the internet.
The situation is the following, I received an excel like this:
(If you need me to translate the information to English, let me know)
To explain a bit, it's a table generated by a system that shows vehicle sales information by segment and the type of fuel. Above all, you can find the country and below the time period to which it belongs (month-year).
They asked me to create visualizations so that the volume of sales can be distinguished according to segments, fuels, periods and countries (Let's say, for example, create a visualization in which "medium sedans" can show sales of the "electric" fuel type to visualize its evolution during the year 2019).
The problem is that I can't think a way to order this via Power Query so that all the filters they request can be combined. I've been trying to transpose it to order it by period (Then accompany it with a calendar table) but it looks badly, like this:
I highlighted in yellow the number of problems that are easily visible to the eye in my attempt to sort it. The worst thing is the fact that I can't think of how categorize it by fuel type since the columns are already occupied by segment.
That's it, hopefully my problem was understood.
If you want any extra information, I will give it to you without drama.
I hope the help of the community! Thanks for reading me!
Please provide sanitized sample data in usable format (not as a picture - inserting it into a table would be good) and show the expected outcome.
