New columns added in Dataverse Table are not visible in Power Query

Hi All,

I have created an application with Power Apps that runs on a dataverse table. This application is placed in one of the pages of my PowerBI report.

I added two more columns to the dataverse table, because I had to develop my application. After the modificitions both in the dataverse table and in the app, I published the application and the tables also.

But, when I wanted to use the recently added columns in Power BI, after refreshing the dataverse table in power query, I do not see the newly added columns.

I also created a new query on that dataverse table, but the new columns are not available.

I also opened a new, blank PBI desktop, but I got the same issue, the new columns are not visible.

Any thougths on this issue?

Thx!

Hi @freidav1984 ,
Depending on your description, you can try the following steps:
1. Refresh data: Sometimes, data may not be displayed immediately due to sync delays. Make sure that the data in Power BI is refreshed after you submit your survey response.
2. Check table filters: In Power BI, when you connect to Dataverse, filters may be applied to tables that may exclude data. Verify that there are no filters that prevent data from being displayed.
3. Permissions and security roles: Although you mentioned having the necessary permissions, it's worth double-checking that the security roles and permissions are properly configured to access survey data in Dataverse. Ensure that the user has the required permissions on the entities used by Customer Voice.

Thank you Albert!

Probably, the sync delay caused the problem. After a day, the previously missing columns appeared in power query.

Thx

David
