I am able to load all my items (2,272) into Power BI from my Azure DevOps Server as a source; however, the "Tags" column is missing data for 100 rows for some reason even though I know the data exists because all my items have a minimum of 1 tag. I double checked and went to the work items that PowerQuery/Power BI claims is empty and confirmed tags do exist. I exported the item in Azure DevOps and confirmed tags show up in export for the "Tags" column. I'm not sure why those 100 items have no value for the "Tags" column when loaded into Power BI.

Solved my own issue I guess. I added an additioanl tag to all my items, then I removed the tag, and then the tag values for all items started appearing in Power BI. This incident makes me feel uncomnfortable using Power BI to represent my data.
I'm having the same problem. The solution of adding a tag and then deleting it doesn't work for me. Is there something else I can do about this problem? I need all the tags to appear in my dashboard.
Hey, I've connected Power Bi to an ADO board via the Azure Boards connector. However, the 'tags' column is not present in the analytics views.
Are you able to comfirm how you were able to bring the field through in the first place?
You have to add it as a field to your view
Hello,
I'm using the Azure DevOps Server option for the connector. I've already attempted clearing the permissions and there was no change. All the data ccomes accross for my other columns. It's just that one column that's missing data for whatever reason. Null/blanks shouldn't be present there.
Hi @Ben_O ,
Did you use the built-in connector?
Please try to clear the permission in the Data source settings and reconnect.
Best Regards,
Stephen Tao
