Hi,
I'm trying to create a dataflow within the PBI service but I can't seem to connect to my database. I've been able to connect to this database through PBI desktop and excel PQ but the service gives me little to no info on why it's failing.
This is all I get:
"Unexpected error (Session ID: dc86c340-c049-47b3-a1bd-bd43bf18cc6d)"
Has anyone else had a similar issue? My database is on an EC2 AWS server.
Hi, @Anonymous
Since you are able to connect to this database through Power BI Desktop, the conncetion credentials should be correct. I'd like to suggest you check if the gateway is updated to the latest version and if the gateway works well. Here is a similar thread you may refer to.
Best Regards
Allan
