How to override my certified connector with a local connector version?

Hi Everyone,

Looking for some help to know if there is a possibility to use a local version of my connector when it is available already in Power BI.

I made the test by pasting my connector in the route Power BI Desktop/Custom Connectors, but Power BI only recognizes the certified version. Also, I try to delete the certified version from the route User/Microsoft/Power BI Desktop Store App/CertifiedExtensions but also without the expected result.

• In the case that was possible to override the certified connector, It will be possible to connect with the version on Power BI Service?
• In the case that was not possible to override the certified connector, the alternative will be to change the identity of the local connector?

Power BI prioritizes certified connectors over local versions to ensure security and reliability. When both a certified and a local version of a connector exist, Power BI will default to using the certified version. This behavior is by design to protect end users by ensuring that only verified and secure connectors are used.
