How to load query to specific sheet in excel for Mac

  • Hi team,

 

I know that we can choose to load query to specific sheet in excel for windows, but I can't find this function in excel for mac!

 

not sure if i miss something, any input are welcome

I don't see any mention for Power BI here (or any other component) Are you sure about choosing the correct community to post your question ?

Load it into a new sheet, then copy and paste it in your desired sheet.

And just load to new tab and then do a rename?

Or load to a new tab and then MOVE the table to the location you want. In windows this also moves the data needed for refresh.

If you want to load the data into a specific sheet, you'll need to copy and paste it manually.

If you want to keep the link between the query and the specific sheet (so it refreshes automatically) . After pasting the data, you can set up a connection between the query and the destination sheet using VBA.

Looks like it's really some limitation on Mac.

Do you have more information on VBA setup? I need to make the query connection active on the table.

What I want to achieve is just like what we can do on Windows.

1. Load the query to specific sheet

2. Data of query in that sheet can be refreshed properly
