This error randomly started showing up on multiple Power BI dashboards I maintain. I am not sure why that is since I've checked the columns of the query in question and cannot find the '5895' value. I've tried removing errors or replacing null with blank values, and nothing works.
The error showed up in the "Expand Query" step after I merged "query 2" to the "main query". I have looked into "query 2" and no errors are showing up in any of the steps. I suspect there is an issue with "query 2" that is causing the error but I cannot figure out what the root cause is.
In the query you are expanding, remove any Changed Type steps so it comes across as Any, or ABC/123. Then look at the expansion, and filter for data that is 5895.
After you find and fix it remember to put the Changed Type step back. Never let the ANY data type persist to the model.
DAX is for Analysis. Power Query is for Data Modeling
