Hi,
We have a timeout problem with ODATA connection form Dynamics NAV 2017. We have an ODATA feed link to an existing report that can be updatet without any problems, but adding it to an empty PBI report gives a timeout error.
I tried to solve it with Timeout=#duration(0,1,30,0), the feed updated for more time, but in the end gave the same error message.
The PBI-Dynamics NAV connection works fine for an ODATA of less than 5000 rows.
We use SQL 2012, if it matters.
Thanks for considering my request
Hi, @Anonymous
I wonder what authentication method you used. Generally, the content pack is used to connect to online Dynamic NAV, and only Basic (Username and Password) authentication is supported. Please change Windows Authentication to Basic for a test. You may also try to update the Power BI to the latest version to see if it works. About dynamic nav with Power BI, please refer to the blog .
Best Regards
Allan
