Hello,
In Power Bi Desktop, I want to connect with an external semantic model via direct query.
I can't load the data; I see the error WAM Error Code: 3399614467 Error Message:(pii) Internal Error Code. (AAD-verifiction error)
This has worked before and if I do this in a remote environment, it works. Has someone the same problem? How can this be solved?
Thx in advance, Annick.
"Error Code: 3399614467" is an error code from the Web Account Manager that comes from Windows. According to the list of common WAM errors, this error is "invalid_grant AADSTS500341: The user account {ID} has been deleted from the {TENANT_ID} directory. To sign into this application, the account must be added to the directory." Has your session been revoked? Does it work again if you sign in, or do you see this error message shortly after?
The issue isn't resolved.
Hi @nickske,
As the super user suggested did you raised a support ticket? If yes please share the support ticket details like support ticket number, so that will check on it and update you accordingly.
Thanks and regards,
Anjan Kumar Chippa
No, my issue isn't resolved. I have also followed the linked in the email to raise a support ticket, but I didn't get an answer that helped me. Regards.
Did you register the app for that external semantic model?
Thank you for your reaction.
No, it's not included in an app.
You need to have been given build access to the other semantic model. Usually that is done via the app. Alternative would be to add you as a viewer to their workspace.
The problem is only in the Power BI Desktop version, not in the Power BI Service. In the Power BI Service, I can see the data.
