Hi All,
I have a script which contains various dimensions and facts which upon loaded to power query, I will then separate the dimensions and fact when creating a fact table form this script.
My question is this.
Can I use the real dimension table from my data warehouse instead of creating the dimension table from the loaded script? For example there's a person table in my datawarehouse. Using this means I'll have another query to load the dimension table to Power query editor.
Downstream, will need to have a path to any source you wish to ingest. So, yes you will need to include this as part of the data source.
