Hi everyone,
I have SQL cube, which I imported in Power BI report and I faced some issues. Power BI imports as measures not fields:
So, if I'm not wrong, this causes me that I can't use data aggregate methods in Power BI. Which data format it should be in SQL for Power BI to recognize it as field?
Regards,
Yerkhan

@ysapiyev,
This behavior is as expected. In "connect live" mode, SSAS measures will be imported as measures in Power BI Desktop. If you want Power BI to recognize SSAS measures as fields, please use import mode instead.

Lydia

@Anonymous,
Thanks.
So, if I understand correctly, date field in SSAS will not be recognized by Power BI visuals as date if it is measure, right?

@ysapiyev,
If it is defined as a measure in SSAS source, the date will not recognized as field in "Connect Live"mode. In "Import" mode, the date can be imported as field.
