Data-type question

Hi all,

In power query, I have certain data presented as follows:

RobinHaerkens_1-1699547365695.png

In Excel, after loading power query, it shows likes this:

My question: how do I get Excel to automatically present the same format as in power query?

Many thanks in advance,

Robin.

Hi @RobinHaerkens

About your Q: How do you get Excel to automatically present the same format as in power query?

I would love to be corrected here but to the best of my knowledge that is not possible for type facets... and

"Percentage" is a type facet, meaning it shows as a % but the value is actually of a number type.

Since the output is to an Excel table, you can quickly change the format for that column to a percentage, but I am confident you already know this.

I hope this is helpful.
