Hi, I'm concerned that with the number of fact tables that my data model is not correct. Would it be possible to show me where i've gone wrong? For the purposes of ease of reading i've unhid previously hidden columns.
Many thanks in advance.
It's possible that the Cost and Sub tables could be merged into the Product dimension somehow but having five fact tables isn't necessarily a problem.
Is there something specific that you're concerned about that seems wrong/incorrect?
Many thanks for your reply. My main concern is that the returns table aren't working in correlation with the dates and the average reviews are incorrect.
Hi @Jameswh91 ,
If it shows incorrect value based on these table relationships, perhaps it could be related to the cross filter direction(single and both), you can refer this document:
Adjusting Cross filter direction for a complex set of tables and relationships
In addition, a star schema table relationship could be more available, see:
Understand star schema and the importance for Power BI
