You can convert the data type to date or use the locale option:
Select the column -> Change type -> Using locale

You can create a column like this:
Column = CONVERT('Table'[data],DATETIME)
Change the format to "dd-mmmm-yy":
Or you can create a custom column in power query, close and apply it, and change the format like the previous.
= Table.TransformColumnTypes(Table.AddColumn(#"Changed Type", "Custom", each Date.FromText([data])),{{"Custom", type date}})
