Hi all,
I am connecting to Dynamics 365 for finance and operations and when I try to connect to certain tables I get an error message.
DataSource.Error: OData: Request Failed: The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request. (An error has occurred.)
DataSourceKind = OData
DataSourcePath = https.....
Does this mean that I do not have access to the data entity in Dynamics 365 and would need to get my permissions changed?
Thanks
@nsacker,
Are you able to access Dynamics 365 from web browser? I follow the guide in this article to connect to Dynamics 365 online in Power BI Desktop and select some tables, everything works well.
In your scenario, I would recommend you use Fiddler to monitor the Http traffic between Power BI Desktop and Dynamics 365, and check what is going on in the background. And you can share fiddler trace log to me via Private message.
Regards,
Lydia
