Connecting EuroStat and Power BI has changed, Wanting Currency Conversion

Hello together,

we had an automized currency conversion using the Query Builder from Eurostat (https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/web/query-builder/getting-started/query-builder

Normally we have used this code:

Quelle=Table.FromColumns({Lines.FromBinary(Web.Contents("https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/wdds/rest/data/v2.1/unicode/de/ert_bil_eur_d?sinceTimePeriod=2019M07D0..."), null, null, 65001)}),

In Green you have the link to the Table ert_bil_eur_d

Unfortunately this link has changed today and does not work anymore.

The new link from the Power Query Builder from EuroStat is

https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/api/dissemination/statistics/1.0/data/ert_bil_eur_d?format=JSON&freq=D...

If I want to use this link and include it into Power Query, it does not work for power BI.

Does somebody have made the same experiences or has some tips?

Thank you

It does work but it's rather a lot of data, 12535 records times 40 currencies.

Search - Eurostat (europa.eu)

Do you maybe want to limit the time range or the currency scope a bit? Use monthly rates?

Database - Eurostat (europa.eu)
