A good start would be Get Data from a folder, as below
Later you can filter Folder Path column like below.
So, Power Query is generally not a file search tool. Can you provide a little more background on this? What I would suggest would be to get all of the files into a single folder and then use a Folder query. But tough to really say. I suppose it would be possible to write an M function to do some file searching and if it finds a file, import it but that's really probably not the best use of Power Query.
