Hi
I have many tables with codes as headers (ITMREF, ITMDESC) etc, and I have a 2-column Excel file in which I have the definition of each code (ITMREF = Item ID, ITMDESC = Item description).
I would like to dynamically change my column headers using that Excel table without the need to go through complicated queries like transpose and so on. I have a database of 50 tables.
Is it doable? thank you
I have a very similiar need. At the moment I'm doing multiple steps like:
= Table.TransformColumnNames( PreviousStep, each Text.Replace( _, "OLDVALUE" , "New Value" ) )
Hopefully some wizard has a better solution
Thanks for your reply. I really can't use this solution since I have a very large data set: 50 tables and each have a minimum of 20 columns.
Let's hope someone figured out a solution.
Regards,
