Hi everyone,
Normally I connect Power BI with a local data folder, but my folder is now stored on SharePoint. The data remains unaltered so what I want to do is simply change the data source from a local folder to a Sharepoint folder. Is there an easy way to perform this change, or do I need to go through the entire process again of 'Get Data' and re-edit the model in Power Query?
Thanks for any help
Kenneth

You can create a new query connecting to the SharePoint folder and once you have that you can copy that M code using Advanced Editor and paste it in the original query. I'd suggest doing it on a copy of original query first.
Most likely you will also have to add missing "," in the last SharePoint line, and change the step reference in your local folder query
Just be aware that SharePoint folder extension uses different "/" than local folder "\", so if you have any subfolders etc. it may cause some complications
