Hi,
I am using four different excel files that have the same structure, and contains some columns which are calculations (IF, LOOKUPS etc). When I load in each of the files, and clean them (remove some columns), all work fine. But when I append them, I have two columns where some of the values disappears and are replaced by null. This is just for some rows, not for all, and the two columns are two calculated columns from the excel file.
Are anyone familiar with this issue? Why is my append replacing some values with null? The rows have the same format in all different queries (before appending). Please let me know if you need any more info.
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Anonymous ,
I dont think, that excel formulas could cause this problem. Are you sure, that the column names are exactly the same?
Certainly, if you could share the files, it will be easier to solve this.

Hi @Bohumil_Uhrin , you are right, it seems like some columns started with a capital letter and some didn't. Thank you!
@Anonymous Good to hear. I dont know how you solved it, however it is not recommended to change column headers "manually".
The best practice is to use normalization function (eg. proper) inside TransformColumnNames function.
Also using "trim" to get rid of unwanted spaces is not a bad idea.
#"New table"=Table.TransformColumnNames(#"Previous table",Text.Proper)
#"New table"=Table.TransformColumnNames(#"Previous table",Text.Trim)
