I have been trying to import an Access database into Power Query, but it is consistently not importing one of the fields, which happens to be one of the more important fields needed for the report. It originally was a combo box, but I have since changed it to a text box. However, it still is not importing that field, despite having no problems importing every other field. What else can I do to get this field to import? Like I said, it is probably one of the three most important fields needed for the report.

Good troubleshooting.
The 'text box' or 'dropdown' will be a feature of the interface. The Access db will store it in a particular Access datatype. Maybe you could investigate this. It will be viewable in a Properties section of the table in Access.
I am leaning towards a function being used in Access.

I was able to get all the data copied into a new field that was able to be imported into Power BI. Thanks for the help. I'll mark this as answered.
Well, I'm going to take a few guesses here:
powerbi pointing at a different version of the accdb? -> double check this. make sure accdb is not locked in a current application, maybe add another test field to the accdb, save it, reconnect from powerbi
--
the field is present but shifted in order i.e. it's further to the right in the preview picture
--
the field is calculated from a function in Access that powerbi can't deal with.
--
Try and eliminate those and we'll see if there's any progress
I did everything you recommended. I made sure powerbi was pointed at the right file. I added a test field, which showed up in its correct place. I checked to make sure that the field was not there. It still isn't. Since the field I need is a text box, would that be the reason powerbi can't read it? If so, is there a way to get the records from my original field into a new field that simply uses text, not a text box?
Throwing an error or just not importing?
You'll have to provide a bit more information please.
Advanced Editor code, name of the column, screenshots?
It's just not importing. I'm not getting an error at all. You can see in the screenshot that the Die Category Field is missing from the imported database in Power BI.https://imgur.com/a/LUgr7vR in case it's hard to see or you can't open it or any other problem there may be
Is there anything I can do to make it import? I'm not running any Advanced Editor code. Right now, the Die Category field is a read-only text box.
