 📤 Submission Guidelines

How do I submit?
Each challenge post will include submission instructions. You can submit:
- A Publish to Web link, or
- A .pbix file (Power BI Desktop)

Be sure to:
- Give your entry a meaningful title
- Upload a thumbnail image
- Fill out all required fields

What if I upload a .pbix file?

No worries! Our team will generate a web link so others can view and interact with your report before judging begins. Web links will be created after the due date.

 📊 Data & Tools

What data can I use?

You can use:
- The official contest dataset, or
- Any publicly available data (e.g., from Data.World, Kaggle, Data.gov, World Bank)

Just make sure to cite your sources clearly on your report.

Can I use custom visuals or tools like Deneb?

Yes! Deneb and other custom visuals are allowed, but your report must include at least one Power BI core visual.

Can I use images or other media?

Absolutely. Just ensure all assets are properly attributed. Include your main data source on the report’s main page, and use a separate page for full citations if needed.

How many report pages can I create?

Reports should have a maximum of 5 report pages. Reports with more than 5 pages will not be disqualified, but only the first 5 pages will be judged. For reports that use a report page size that differs from the standard canvas size, use your best judgement. The length of your report should be no longer than the equivalent of 5 standard report pages.
