Hi, We have currently working our web application with power bi embedded and row level security with Azure Analysis Services, that works really good, now we need to use subscriptions so the user (power bi pro users) could receive at least one email per day, but RLS is not working when they go directly to the report in power bi, out of our web site. I tried some approaches, like:
=Doors[RoleGroup] IN SELECTCOLUMNS(FILTER(Operators_RoleGroup, Operators_RoleGroup[Email] =IF(ISBLANK( CUSTOMDATA()),USERPRINCIPALNAME(),CUSTOMDATA()) && RELATED(DimRoleGroups[RoleGroupID])= [RoleGroup]),"Doors", [RoleGroup])
Validating if customdata() is blank, then use userprincipalname(), or:
UserTypeLogged = SELECTCOLUMNS(FILTER(Operators_RoleGroup, Operators_RoleGroup[Email] =IF(ISBLANK( CUSTOMDATA()),IF(ISBLANK(USERPRINCIPALNAME()),USERNAME(),USERPRINCIPALNAME()),CUSTOMDATA()) && RELATED(DimRoleGroupsGX[RoleGroupID])= [RoleGroup]),"Doors", [RoleGroup]).
Is there any efficient way to do this?, kind regards. possible manage subscriptions email/export from power bi rest api?
Thanks
