Hi,
Recently, there is new REST API available to get real time data.
https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-developer-embed-sample-app-owns-data/
I am using user owns data to create "Report". I need to know does it support Document DB.
If I create a report using Azure document DB, will I get real time data?
Also, is there any data limitation (data, bandwidth etc.) using REST API?

For real time data in Power BI, see Real-time streaming in Power BI. It supports 3 kinds of datasets, Push dataset, Streaming dataset and PubNub streaming dataset. So it doesn't support DocumentDB directly. However I think you can use "Push dataset", you consume the data from DocumentDB via related REST API and push data to Power BI. As to DocumentDB REST APIs, you should ask for help in the dedicatedd forum.
Yes, there's limitation using Power BI REST API, see Streaming dataset matrix part in the real-time link.
