Performance benchmark - financial statement reporting

I use direct query to extract ledger transactions for 6 companies from a SQL server database and produce balance sheet statements and profit and loss statements. Can anyone provide acceptable response times for such reporting? I have three slicers: 1)select value in dollars, thousands, etc. 2) select by company, and 3) select by date in a hierarchical way (year, quarter, month). Thank you in advance. It is estimated that each fiscal year will contain about 40,000 records.
