Hi All,
I am new to Power BI and trying to work out if we can create something similar to Screenshot 1 in Power BI. Please note that Values here are actually Measures and remaining are all Dimensions. I can show the Measures in Row but as soon I add dimensions, it shows up like in Screenshot 2

Hi @sandygather,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
The matrix is not showing the dimensions the way you want. To fix it, try adding NetworkType first and then SpeedTier under Columns, and put MeasureType in Rows. Also, go to the matrix format settings and turn off the stepped layout .that should give you the layout like your Screenshot 1.
I tested it with my sample data, and it worked fine. Please find the attached Pbix for your reference.

Hi @v-hjannapu ,
Thanks for your response.
I had a look at your recommendation but it does not appear to fulfill my requirement. Below is what I got from your pbix file. However, my requirement is to show Netwrok Type under Measure Type in the rows. Please refer to my original post Screenshot 1
Hi @sandygather,
You want to show Network Type under Measure Type in the rows, just like in Screenshot 1 you shared earlier.
In Power BI, by default, we can show dimensions like Network Type, Speed Tier, etc. in rows or columns, but we can’t directly show dimensions under measures in rows. That layout is not supported out-of-the-box in the Matrix visual.
One way is to create a separate table for Measure Types and then write a DAX measure using SWITCH() to show values based on what’s selected.
Another option is to unpivot the data in Power Query, so that measures become rows. This gives more flexibility to design your matrix exactly like you need.
Hope the above provided information help you resolve the issue, if you have any further concerns or queries, please feel free to reach out to us.

Harshitha.
