Hey Guys,
We currently embed Power BI reports with RLS into our web platform and utilise the users username to achieve RLS. I've recently created and published an app from one of our workspaces and wondered if its possible to embed the app into our platform instead of the reports and still utilise the same RLS mechanism.
Has anyone done this and if so, how do we accomplish the app authentication? I believe that the app authenication uses AAD. Is there any way to bypass that so that we dont have to have an AD account for every user that utilises our web platform?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Des

Hi @naidoode
App embedding isn't possible at the moment, but you never know when it might arrive.
There is a suggestion on the ideas forum for this to be implemented: https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=7f91faef-43f4-45b4-bbb6-80ca1fd8a627
