I have to make a case on what tool to use to build an AAS tabular model. Can anyone give me pros and cons associated with using each one? We are moving from another analytics tool to PowerBI but at this we are a GCC customer and cannot use Fabric. So we are determining what path to take. We will have a SQL Server data storage in Azure. TIA.

I would suggest Visual Studio for your case. Only cons I could think of is Editing dozens/hundreds of measures is painful and no bulk replace or mass formatting options.
