show data points in map visual

Hi Team,

I need a help with one of the ask from my team.  i need to create a map visual for USA and add data points on top of them. 

the current map visuals that powerbi has doesnt allow for showing data on the map. 

Is there a work around to get this?

There is currently no direct method. Please check if these workarounds can meet your requirements:

Data Labels on Maps;

Map with Data Labels in R.

Hi, Sorry, i could have explained it with below pic. What im looking for is, i have this map chart and i woudl like to add the data points on the states.  For example, california "90". Florida "50" etc. The below chart is a custom visual ArcGIS. But I'm fine with any other map visual which allows the label display functionality.
