Hi,
I have a report generated from sql quey, having a due date filed. My requirement is to create a slicer and whatsever the date a user selects in the slicer the report should show all the data where due date is less than the selected slicer date.
I am not able to pass the slicer date to sql query.
Can you guide me guys in finding the best possible way..
So generally you would import all the data or be in DirectQuery mode and you would filter that way. I'm a bit confused.
Currently i am importing the data to power bi. But i am fine with direct query mode also..
Hi @nsatyabrat7 ,
I'm confused about your question. In import mode or DQ mode, when you use slicer for date column, it will apply filter on the data. You don't need to passing slicer value to query.
