I seee this issue where date hierarchy does not follow sort by setup that we did
So we added date hierarchy (year-quarter-month) on column in our report
right top 3 dots and sort does not have option to sort by column
We created separate column to sort by and assign sort by on date column
When we use date on columns sorting works as expected but when we use date hierarchy it sorts years fine but as we drill down to quarter and months it does not follow same sorting order.
How to make sure at all levels it goes descending.
@Mahesh0016 you mean create 3 different columns, apply sorting rule to all 3 and then use them instead of built in hierarchy?
Hello @dilkushpatel ,
you can create date table and in this table to create year-quarter-Month column and plot in visual then drill is work fine so plz try it that way .
